SUMMARY

VSPS Aerial

The Vallejo Station Parking Structure Project is a major component of the Vallejo Waterfront Planned Development Master Plan (WPDMP).The project goal is to construct a 1,300 space parking structure for ferry system riders in two phases. It will consolidate the existing surface parking lots located along Mare Island Way from Capitol Street to Maine Street and make way for the development of those waterfront parcels. The parking structure is designed as a joint use facility to accommodate transit-oriented use and commercial space constructed at the ground floor frontages along Georgia Street and Santa Clara Street.

The construction of the southerly half of Vallejo Station, Phase A is complete with approximately 750 parking spaces. Once the Post Office has been relocated and remaining funding obtained, Phase B can be implemented for the remaining 550 parking spaces.
