Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is providing food distribution only to those that do not have the means at the following location:

- 630 Tuolumne Street, enter off of L. Ellenburg and exit out onto Maxwell Alley
- Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31, 9 a.m. to 12-Noon

- Thursday, April 2 (For USDA Distribution only)
- 9 a.m. to 12-Noon, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (closed 12-noon to 1 p.m.)

Catholic Charities

May 2020 Report on The Catholic Charities COVID-19 Emergency Relief Assistance (United Way, Solano Community Foundation):

  • 211 Vallejoans submitted applications as of 05/18/2020 (application period opened 04/01/2020)
  • 31 Vallejoans denied assistance due to lack of eligibility or lack of responsiveness
  • 77 Vallejoans received a total of $115,051 in Rental/Mortgage assistance
  • 103 Vallejoans with a pending or incomplete application
  • Catholic Charities has $14,446 remaining for Direct Assistance for applicants impacted by COVID19, and we already have applications submitted awaiting review/approval

UPDATE: Catholic Charities was awarded $113,000 from Emergency Food and Shelter Program/CARES Act (EFSP) Funding Phase 37/CARES Act Funding adding more funding for Rental and Mortgage Assistance. The EFSP Phase 38 grant cycle will likely open later this summer, creating an opportunity to extend this rental and mortgage assistance program that will help provide continued support for Vallejo residents.
