What to Do If You Receive a Notice

There are three types of notices:

Warning Notice or Administrative Warning Notice: This is a friendly notice, asking you to correct a City Municipal Code Violation withing a specified time frame. If corrected, there are not repercussions. If the violations are not corrected the case moves onto the next process which includes fines. Do you need more time? Notice of Violation: This is serious notice, indicating that you have not complied with the Warning Notice, or you have had the same violations within the past 12 months and have now incurred fines on the property. You must comply with this notice in the specified amount of time, or you could receive additional fines. Do you need more time? Please call us directly to make arrangements.

 

Administrative Citation: This is a serious notice, indicating that you have not complied with the Administrative Warning Notice or with the Notice of Violation and have now incurred fines on the property. You must comply with this notice in the specified amount of time, or you could receive additional fines Do you need more time? Please call us directly to make arrangements.

 

Notice of Violations and Administrative Citations have the option to be appealed if you do not agree with the Officers decision. Please see the Appeal Page for more information.
