Second Meeting: Provide Feedback on New City Manager
The City of Vallejo is planning its recruitment for a new city manager and invites the public to share its thoughts on a proposed “ideal candidate profile” at a second public meeting to be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017. The first meeting was held on August 10, 2017 and was attended by 28 people.

The meeting on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 will be held in the Joseph Room at John F. Kennedy Library, 505 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo, CA from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be facilitated by Paul Kimura, an executive recruiter from Avery & Associates, the consulting firm hired by the City of Vallejo to conduct a nationwide recruitment for a new city manager. Personnel from the City’s Human Resources Department will be present to assist.

The recruitment is being held as Vallejo’s current city manager, Daniel E. Keen, plans to retire in November 2017. If members of the public are unavailable to attend the public meeting on August 23, they will have an opportunity to provide input via a survey which will be released soon on the City’s website at
