PB is driven by active residents and stakeholders, who do everything from share ideas, develop project proposals, and vote on projects. The projects that receive the most votes are submitted to City Council for funding consideration.

Starting in June 2016, Cycle 4 of PB will begin with public meetings and events to collect ideas and through online submission of ideas through Open City Hall
Ideas are collected at community meetings throughout the City
Ideas are turned into project proposals with the help of Volunteer Budget Delegates
Eligible Proposals are presented at Expos

Who’s eligible to vote?
* Documentation of citizenship is NOT required
* You may vote in Vallejo’s Participatory Budgeting regardless of legal status or history
* At the time of voting, voter must verify they meet the minimum voting requirements & provide a valid Vallejo address
*Voter can only vote one time per cycle
